RIP SJ
Life is so short. I’ve experienced so much death in my lifetime and yet I’m never prepared for how it affects me. It never gets any easier and as I get older I feel that it hits me even harder. I feel overwhelmed with grief and sadness. In this sadness I am reminded of how precious life is. That statement is said with such abandon, it’s such a cliché. Today I’m looking at...

Va-va-va-valentine's me
2010 marked my and Gus’ 10th valentine’s day together. A day together, nothing better. A day together full of tattoos and diamonds. Here’s to our next ten!
And so we discovered that education is not something which the teacher does, but...

Sayuri Miren Knight was born last night at 9:54pm in Idaho Falls with the help of my mom and Shiho’s friend Ali. Sayuri weighs 7lbs 8oz and is 19 1/2 inches long. She is beautiful and has a full head of dark hair. She makes me a Tia for the 12th time! I love her and can’t wait to hold her in my arms in a few weeks!! Life is amazing!

Sam Elliott
Highlight of my day was seeing, ahem, sitting right next to Sam Elliott while we both got our hair cut last week. It took everything in me not to freak out like a crazy person. I have dignity people, and grace. Seriously. He’s a person just like me after all and he doesn’t deserve to be bombarded by strangers that love his movies or him or his persona. I mean really, he knows we all...
First day if observation! It’s going really well and I haven’t stopped writing all morning. This is a great school! Lots of natural light and high energy. So far so good!!

I’m getting married in 6 days. Unreal. I’m so excited, eager, nervous… so EXCITED!! Everything is pretty much done and now we just need to tie up loose ends and sit back and enjoy the next few days. My family gets in on the 4th, then the chaos begins. I’m so excited to see everyone! To share my day with the people who mean the most to me and Us, is the best gift we could...

Bubbly bubbly excitement!
We are one month away from the wedding and I’m starting to feel it close in. I’m really excited, can’t wait to see my dress finished and slip it on. I can’t wait to set up the reception, can’t wait to see Gus waiting for me at the end of the aisle and can’t wait to see all our friends and family all dolled up! Everything about the wedding is getting me more and...
